Fall Classes Are Here!

Fall Classes Are Here!

Attention parents - please note changes for the first day of each class:

The start date of our classes is TBD.  The impact of Irma has been devastating and many of our families are still displaced Generically speaking our classes follow the MDCPS calendar, with Fall and Spring term class sessions. As a rule of thumb, we will begin classes a couple of days after school begins again. Please check back to this website for official opening dates. Stay safe everyone!

Mainstage Junior

Our most popular class - the perfect way to get your child up on the big stage.  Mainstage Junior combines the best of two worlds - academic instruction on acting basics plus the very cool notion that Mainstage Junior participants put on a fully realized play at the end of the session. We're talking costumes, set, lights and sound. Directed by MCT Director Tim Fath, students meet Mondays and Wednesday for 12 weeks and then debut their show for family and friends. This semester's show? The Worst Monster Ever...a tale about a monster who is afraid of his own shadow. Mainstage Junior meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6, starting Monday, September 25 leading to a  final presentation on Wednesday, December 6 at 7 pm.
